Built and Operated in Denmark
DK-DC1 is our own facility in Nørre Aaby, giving us full control over hardware, networking, and where your data lives.
Technologies & Partners
Infrastructure hosted in Denmark, data stays in Europe
Built to modern European standards, fully owned and operated by Webdock, with off-site redundancy across Europe for business continuity and European jurisdiction at all times.
GDPR compliant by design
100% GDPR compliant by design, with EU-based data residency, built to scale, test, and grow without artificial constraints.
Owned and operated by us
We own the hardware and run the facility ourselves. No resold capacity, no third-party landlord between you and the rack your server runs on. The same ownership model underpins our Private Cloud offering.
Network
Your real-world latency to DK-DC1
Measured live from your browser to our Danish datacenter in Nørre Aaby.
Live measurement
What your browser reports: the average time for a full HTTPS request and response, measured with the browser's own timing API. It includes your local network, Wi-Fi, and browser and server request handling, so it reads higher than a raw network ping to the datacenter, which is typically a good deal lower. The origin label is an approximate guess from your browser timezone or language, not real geolocation.
Cutting-edge network, monitored 24/7 365
A fully routed network with redundant uplinks everywhere, staffed around the clock by our Support and Network Operations Center teams.
Cutting-edge network design
DK-DC1 runs a fully routed network using the latest technologies and standards for resiliency, self-healing and capacity. We run fiber throughout, have redundant uplinks everywhere, and peer with multiple upstream providers over fully diverse paths.
Fully monitored 24/7 365
Staffed around the clock by our Support Team and dedicated NOC team, reacting proactively to any alert. We monitor temperatures, airflows, UPS voltages, PDUs, all equipment vitals, and network operations.
Designed for high-density computing
High-capacity redundant electrical infrastructure lets us run an enormous amount of computing on minimal floor space, for better energy and cooling efficiency, as detailed in our ESG report.
Network fabric
Inside the DK-DC1 IP fabric
Racks in DK-DC1 land on a purpose-built, multi-vendor EVPN-VXLAN fabric laid out Spine-Leaf, active-active at every layer, with tenant isolation enforced in the network itself. Nothing waits in standby, and no Spanning Tree has to reconverge when a link drops.
Encapsulation starts at the hypervisor, so tenant networks are software, not switch config. Designed and run by ITcare with a 24/7 NOC, and automated enough that a new node is in production minutes after it is racked.
Private interconnects
Direct capacity into the largest networks
Traffic bound for the big platforms exits our fabric over dedicated peering instead of gambling on public transit. Shorter paths, more headroom per port, and routing we control ourselves, carrier-grade interconnects sitting behind every workload in DK-DC1.
We can host just about anything
Sustainability First
Eco-friendly cloud hosting made simple
DK-DC1 draws certified wind, solar and hydro power, documented per kilowatt-hour rather than balanced out with offsets.
Supported operating systems
Webdock-configured stacks and all currently supported LTS releases.
