Why teams choose Private Cloud

Traditional dedicated servers give you hardware but no platform. Public cloud gives flexibility but shared infrastructure. Webdock Private Cloud combines both.

Dedicated hardware cluster

Physical servers allocated exclusively to your environment.

Dedicated hypervisor layer

Isolated virtualization, no co-tenancy.

NVMe storage

Enterprise NVMe for consistent low-latency I/O.

Dedicated IPs / BYOIP

Own IP ranges or bring your existing allocations.

Webdock dashboard & API

Full provisioning, management, and automation.

Automated snapshots & backups

Point-in-time recovery built into the platform.

Infrastructure monitoring

Real-time metrics and alerting out of the box.

DDoS protection & WAF

Network and application-layer security included.

Dedicated infrastructure

Why Private Cloud?

A Private Cloud gives you access to infrastructure that would otherwise require significant capital and engineering resources to run yourself. You get a dedicated environment, your own cluster inside our datacenter in Denmark, with none of the operational burden, a setup particularly well suited to Scandinavian companies with strict data residency and uptime requirements.

It is the right choice when you need full control, consistent performance and resources that are never shared with anyone else. No noisy neighbours. No overcommit. No surprises on your invoice.

Reference architecture

How a Webdock Private Cloud is built

Dedicated hardware, a managed platform layer and on-demand burst, engineered to behave predictably under load.

Scale beyond your cluster when needed

Private Cloud environments can temporarily scale into Webdock Public VPS infrastructure, without migrating platforms.

Handle traffic spikes

Absorb sudden load without over-provisioning your cluster.

Temporary compute expansion

Spin up additional capacity on demand.

Hybrid infrastructure model

Combine private cluster stability with public cloud elasticity.

Same API & dashboard

Manage everything from a single Webdock interface.

Network fabric

Network architecture

Every Webdock Private Cloud node connects into a purpose-built, multi-vendor EVPN-VXLAN IP fabric, a Spine-Leaf architecture with active-active redundancy at every layer, no Spanning Tree dependencies, and full tenant isolation at the network level.

The fabric was designed and is operated by ITcare, with a 24/7 NOC. VXLAN encapsulation originates at the hypervisor, which means your tenant network is a logical construct completely decoupled from the physical fabric. Isolated by design, not by configuration.

Provisioning is fully automated. A new server is in production within minutes of being racked. A new tenant network requires no manual switch configuration. The same engineers who designed the fabric run it in production around the clock.

Private interconnects

Direct peering with the world's largest networks

Your traffic doesn't travel through the public internet to reach its destination. Webdock maintains private interconnects directly into the backbone networks of Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, meaning lower latency, higher throughput, and no dependency on shared public routing. This is the same infrastructure tier used by enterprise carriers, delivered as part of your Private Cloud commit.

Frequently asked questions

Capacity, isolation, SLAs, and contracts, explained without the sales layer.

Hyperscaler 'private' tiers are typically logical partitions on shared hardware with shared hypervisors. Webdock Private Cloud is a physically isolated cluster, dedicated servers, dedicated hypervisor, dedicated network. There is no cross-customer resource contention at any layer.

99.9% availability measured at the hypervisor layer, platform services and network connectivity to your dedicated IP range. Included in Pro SLA is full-stack monitoring, log aggregation, OS hardening, capacity planning, Monthly Operations Review, Named Technical Contact, dedicated incident channel.

Inside our owned datacenter in Nørre Aaby, Denmark (DK-DC1). All customer data is stored and processed within the EEA. We do not transfer data outside the EEA without your prior written consent.

Yes. Bring Your Own IP is a supported option, alongside dedicated /29 ranges issued from Webdock space.

Capacity alerts automatically trigger at 80% utilization so you have lead time to plan. For temporary spikes, you can burst to Public capacity at flat rates and migrate workloads back to the isolated cluster afterwards.

We offer a 3-month initial commitment for Private Cloud setups, so you can test the environment in production before committing long term. After the first 3 months, you can either continue with the same setup or scale to different hardware depending on your needs. A standard Private Cloud contract term is 12 months. We also offer longer terms by agreement, including 24 and 36 months, with progressive volume discounts.
