Servers with no IPv4 networking (IPv6 only)
Last updated: November 8th 2022
Certain server profiles with Webdock may not have IPv4 networking at all. These server profiles are made available as low-cost alternatives to our regular server profiles.
You can not buy an IPv4 address as an "add on" to these profiles
Instead, you should upgrade the server to a profile which includes IPv4 networking. Once you upgrade your server you will receive new IP addresses and IPv4 will be enabled for your server.
Having problems connecting with SSH?
Your local network probably doesn't support IPv6 in that case. Simply use our WebSSH Terminal to connect to your server, as that will work regardless of whether your local network supports IPv6 or not.
